Saturday, July 16th 10am-5:30pm The Collectively Creative Art Group is comprised of local artists who make gallery quality work and host art-centric discussions. On the grounds of the Meeting Hall, five ceramics artisans will be selling sculpture, wall hangings, crystalline glazed porcelain, raku, and stoneware. Paintings by Mona Ray and beautifully decorated gourd art by Grace Swanson will also be for sale. The Meeting Hall will serve as the hub for the educational aspect of the event. Our artists will be making presentations about their work and will have educational tables on display. Guests have been invited to discuss their artistic endeavors. Damon Adamo will talk about artisanal brewing and Roger Colbath will explain how to make guitars from scratch. Studio ACE has kindly agreed to set-up a table adjacent to the Meeting Hall where kids can make art. Nature inspires artists and the Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation will discuss its preservation efforts. A schedule will be posted on our website before the event. Please join us where artists and community members meet! Please visit their website for more information and to view pictures of their work: https://collectivelycreativeartgroup.weebly.com/
Event not run by the Olivenhain Town Council, however the group will be donating a portion of the sales back to the OTC.
